I had seen this one first and thought it would be cute to try!
This one is great too!
Even this little one is cute!
This is what mine looked like. Yikes.
Pinterest. Fail.
Such a simple task yet...not quite so easy.
Do you like to make your veggie trays fancy or just functional? Have you ever dressed up a veggie tray to look like something else?
Till next time,
Catherine
Lol, I had to laugh out loud at this one. That's exactly how it would look if I tried to make this!
ReplyDeleteBut I do have a question. What fruit/veggie do you think is the yellow head in the very top photo?
DeleteGlad I'm not the only one ;) It looks like a small yellow squash to me!
DeleteYes, it is a yellow squash.
DeleteGeeze! I thought the very top 1 was so cute, I was planning to make it. Never dreamed mine wouldn't look just like it; then I saw the bottom one. Better rethink.
ReplyDeleteJust give yourself more than 5 minutes to do it. I think that was part of my problem! Haha.
DeleteMy mom actually made the first one. The trick is to make it big. She tried making a smaller one last year and it didn't turn out as nice.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep that in mind if I attempt it again, thanks!
DeleteIs the center solid peppers all the way through? And, about how much of each veggie do I need?
ReplyDeleteNo it's just one top layer of peppers. I used one of each color pepper, one cucumber, small bag of baby carrots, etc. Just prepare a lot of veggies then take what you need to build your turkey :)
Deletegood effort though! :)
ReplyDeleteAww thanks! If you never try, you never know! :)
DeleteGoing to try the first one. Wish me luck...I am hoping I can get it done and it resembles a turkey. Anybody have an easy veg dip?
DeleteWhat size or kind of plate do you reccommend, Im gonna try?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a very large plate!
